About LANDOVERLAND

I’m Jason, the founder of LANDOVERLAND. What started as road trips in my old Land Rover Discovery, exploring the West Coast and national parks, turned into a deep appreciation for our planet and warm, well-crafted clothing with a story to tell.

LANDOVERLAND is more than a vintage shop. It is a commitment to timeless style, sustainability, and supporting American craftsmanship. Every item is hand-selected with care, focusing on authenticity, quality, and the details that make a piece truly special.

Choosing clothing made from natural fibers is more than a style choice. It is a step toward a cleaner planet and a stronger local economy. Natural materials like cotton, wool, and linen biodegrade faster than synthetic fibers, reducing waste and microplastic pollution. By prioritizing vintage and natural fiber clothing, we help reduce landfill waste, lower carbon emissions, and limit the environmental damage caused by fast fashion.

Supporting natural fiber garments also means supporting American farmers and artisans who grow, spin, and craft these materials. By choosing well-made, long-lasting clothing, we help sustain traditional textile industries, create jobs, and invest in a future that values durability over disposability.

Fast fashion contributes to over 92 million tons of textile waste annually and accounts for nearly 10% of global carbon emissions. Synthetic fibers like polyester shed microplastics into our water systems, affecting marine life and even making their way into our food chain. In contrast, clothing made from natural fibers decomposes in a fraction of the time and requires fewer harmful chemicals to produce.

LANDOVERLAND exists to promote natural fibers and American craftsmanship in our branded items and give well-loved garments a second life while promoting a more thoughtful way to consume fashion. Every piece has a past and a future. By choosing quality over quantity, we can rewrite the story of fashion and make choices that benefit both people and the planet.
